Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist for one of our clients who provides insurance solutions in catastrophe exposed areas. They are the leading provider of residential earthquake insurance. This role will be onsite in Fairfield, CA.
As a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist you will responsible for being hands on with varies aspects of cybersecurity and audits. Our client goes through 3-4 audits per year, so we are looking for someone who has experience in a regulated environment that knows how to adhere to ISO 27001 and NIST standards. When you are not doing audits, your time will be dedicated to looking at and fixing security events/issues. Tightening up our client's incident response, documentation, writing playbooks for security events, and overseeing other aspects of the security department. You will also be responsible for the design and documentation of controls, to testing and assessment of our client's enterprise and information systems, as well as consult on a validate issues and remediations.

Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data on host computers, multiple databases, and during data transfer in accordance with business needs and industry best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.

Helping set up, maintain and configure our client's cloud infrastructure. Being in charge of parameters and policies within a cloud environment.

Help manage and run vulnerability scans and assessments

Manage and detect security threats, monitoring user behavior, and comply with various regulations using SIEM

Experience with SIEM and NIST technologies

Experience with Carbon Black, Rapid7, CrowdStrike, or a similar EDR tool

Experience with M365 Administration and Microsoft Defender

Experience with vulnerability scanning and cloud configuration - Cybersecurity certifications null
