Structure: 3 days in office and 2 WFH

A small but dynamic business consultancy is looking for a Junior Analyst to join their analytics team to manage both internal and external data requirements. You will assist in helping grow their current projects and assesments by looking at raw data, creating captivating visualisations that will assist in growing their current solutions and services.

Responsabilities:

  • Work across large datasets from multiple sources, identifying, analysing, and summarising findings for our clients.
  • Responsible for the continuous development of data analysis and visualizations to enable cutting edge delivery of our assessments.
  • Collaborate with external partners on product development when required.
  • Manage research projects using the data lake and large data sets to provide insight and understanding.
  • Manage data lake queries.
  • Work with partners to build, integrate and maintain the App Data Portal
  • Manage beta testing projects within the Analytics team.
  • Work closely with clients, third parties, and partners to efficiently deliver assessments, develop products and accelerate growth.
  • Guide the analytics team in their understanding of data analysis and production of assessment reports.

Skills and experience required:

  • Completed Degree in statistics/mathematics/computer sciences/engineering or a related field and ready to start work
  • 1 - 2 years experience whether through commercial or internship experience.
  • Understanding of statistical and advanced analytics techniques and able to translate complex data and analysis into simple, actionable outputs and visualisations.
  • Experience, knowledge and fluency in programming languages R, Python, SQL, and Java Script
  • Strong analysis skills: can work with multiple and complex data sources, prioritise key areas of investigation, and apply a sound interpretation to findings
